Refund Policy

LAST UPDATED SEPTEMBER 16, 2026

Thirty days, full refund, no reason required. The rest of this page is the detail behind that sentence, and there is deliberately not much of it — a refund policy is read by someone who is already unhappy, and every extra clause between them and their money reads as an attempt to make it harder.

The short version

If EQUATOR is not right for your program, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need a reason and we will not ask you to justify it.

The 30-day window

Your program's first payment is fully refundable for 30 days from the date it was charged.

This exists because EQUATOR has no free trial — founding rates start on day one, which is fair to programs that commit early but means you are paying before you have properly used the thing. The first 30 days are your trial, with your own roster in it rather than sample data.

Use the platform properly in that time. Upload your roster, run the valuation, let your staff into the War Room. Finding out in week three that it is not what you needed is exactly the situation this window is for.

After 30 days

Beyond the first 30 days we do not refund payments already made for time already served, in the same way a subscription generally does not.

We will, however, cancel your plan so you are not charged again. Tell us before your next billing date and that is the end of it.

Two exceptions where we will refund outside the window, without argument:

  • We charged you in error, charged you twice, or charged you after you cancelled.
  • A prolonged outage or a broken feature meant you could not meaningfully use the platform for a significant part of a billing period. Tell us what happened and we will work out a fair number, usually a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.

High school programs

High school program accounts are free, so there is nothing to refund. If you were somehow charged for one, that is an error under the section above and we will return it immediately.

How to request a refund

Email equatorfootball.jd@gmail.com from an address associated with your program, and include your program's name. That is the whole process — there is no form and no ticket queue.

You will get a reply from the person who builds EQUATOR, not from a support desk. We aim to respond within two business days, and to process an approved refund within five business days of approving it. Refunds return to the original payment method; how quickly it appears after that is up to your bank or card issuer.

If we decline a refund we will tell you why in plain terms, and if you think we have it wrong, say so — we would rather reconsider than have a program feel it was handled by a policy instead of a person.

What happens to your data

A refund does not delete your data automatically, because most programs that leave want the option to come back to their roster history.

If you want it gone, say so and we will delete it — either in your refund email or later, through the data deletion request page. If you want a copy first, ask and we will export it for you before deleting anything.

Founding rates, if you come back

A founding rate is locked for as long as a program stays on the platform continuously. If you leave and later return, we cannot promise the founding rate will still be available — but ask, because if it is, we will honour it.
